Take prospects and clients on a virtual tour through your new factory or building. With these interactive 3D visualizations people can easily discover the design and its unique features, even before construction actually started. Users navigate to points of interest, while learning at the same time. For instance, about the layout of the premises and available facilities, to how sunlight enters. These applications are not just used to present architectural designs in tenders, and distinguish your proposal from competitors, but throughout the complete building’s lifecycle. From safety training to visual maintenance with live data.
The Netherlands Institute for Ecology, part of the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Scienes, is a unique research complex built on the cradle-to-cradle principle. It was award with a prestigious national award: The Golden Pyramid for Architecture.
iTZiT created an interactive knowledge application to share the buildings features with visitors groups, as well as research projects that the institute conducts. Via a touchscreen the NIOO institute can be virtually explored in 3D. From the laboratories and greenhouses to the bees on the roof.
This interactive visualization was launched at the Science Weekend, a nation-wide event to share academic know-how to all interested audiences.
Within the 3D world, iTZiT integrated realtime information from sensor data to explain the actual performance of various solar systems within the research complex. How much energy do they generate? What can we do with this harvested power? Complex information is translated into everyday life products. After all, it’s easier to understand big data by seeing how many iPads can be charged with it, or how far one can travel by electric car with this amount of energy. The data is also of value for operation and maintenance, for instance to track the historical performance of the various solar panels and energy systems.
To show the unique opportunities of a new residential area, iTZiT developed an interactive version of an entire neighborhood. Users can visit individual houses, see and change floorplans and calculate the total costs for their preferred home. Read more >
To inform employees, customers and nearby residents on the design of the new regional office of Rabobank Gouwestreek, a banking and financial services company, iTZiT developed an animation, as well as an interactive and virtual reality prototype of the building. Read more >
